Dr. Pierce on his motivation to work with cancer patients:
“Oncology combines the best of the scientific and interpersonal aspects of medicine. While I was initially drawn to oncology for the fascinating science of cancer treatment, I ultimately chose a career in this field due to the rewarding relationships I developed with patients and their families. I strive to provide thorough and compassionate care, developing a plan to fit the individual needs of each person I see. I consider it a privilege to care for my patients and participate in their journey.”
