Since 1984, Alabama Oncology has been providing high-quality cancer care to patients throughout central Alabama.  With ten convenient locations in Jefferson, Shelby, and St. Clair counties, we provide patients access to a comprehensive range of the most current cancer care services. Our mission is to provide outstanding patient care in a community-based setting close to your home.

In 2011, Alabama Oncology expanded its patient services to include Gynecologic Oncology.   Alabama Gynecologic Oncology is proud to serve the women of central Alabama.  We are dedicated to providing exceptional care to women with cancers of the female reproductive organs, as well as treating complex gynecologic surgical cases.

In 2014, Alabama Oncology added Surgical Oncology to its list of cancer care services.  The surgical management of tumors enhances the multi-disciplinary team approach to treating cancer.

Our 24 board certified physicians and team of certified oncology nurses strive to provide excellent clinical care, while being compassionate and understanding of the physical, emotional, and social impacts that can occur with a cancer diagnosis. Our team is committed to delivering care to our patients in an atmosphere of respect, honesty, integrity, support and teamwork.

Alabama Oncology offers an extensive clinical research program, which focuses on advancing cancer treatment therapies and technologies. Our research staff coordinates participation in clinical trials that have played an instrumental role in the development of FDA-approved drugs.
