Birmingham Hematology and Oncology Associates recently changed our name to Alabama Oncology.  Along with a fresh new logo, our new name is a clear reflection of who we are, we are physicians, but first and foremost we are partners with our patients.  Although we’ve made changes to our outward identity, what has not changed is our commitment to excellent patient care.

We will continue to foster and grow referral lines and maintain referring physician relationships. Our internal procedures ensure communication between referring physicians and Alabama Oncology physicians remains personal and timely.

Our new name will help to aid our patients’ desire for compassionate, non-academic care that is also convenient and close to home.
