ABC 33/40: 10/1 @ 5 a.m. – Dr. Allendorf
Dr. Daniel Allendorf joined ABC 33/40 to discuss the adverse impact that COVID-19 has had on cancer screening. October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. He described the importance of screening mammograms and encouraged people that it’s safe to reschedule these procedures that might have been delayed due to the pandemic. Dr. Allendorf is a Medical Oncologist and practices at the Alabama Oncology clinic located in the Shelby Cancer Care Center right off the campus of Shelby Baptist Medical Center.
