Dr. Carter Capra joined WBRC Fox 6 News to discuss data showing that younger people are being diagnosed with cancer at an increasing rate. He recommends that young people with a family history of cancer get annual checkups with their primary care doctor and further recommends appropriate cancer screening to identify cancer in earlier stages. Dr. Capra is a medical oncologist and practices at the Alabama Oncology clinic located in the Bruno Cancer Center on the campus of St. Vincent’s Birmingham Hospital.
