Dr. Natasha Amjed

Dr. Amjed on her inspiration for becoming a physician and her motivation to work with cancer patients:

I grew up in a tight-knit family and community locally in Hoover, AL. Throughout the past several years, I have come across personal loss and have come to appreciate how precious time is, especially with those who are closest to us. I was drawn to the community aspect of the oncology field. Our patients become part of our community and family. The diagnosis of cancer carries with it an overwhelming and challenging experience. It is a privilege to be part of this aspect of a patient’s life and to support patients in all ways possible. I am thankful and blessed to have the opportunity to take care of our patients. I’m proud to be part of this team.
