Melissa French, MSN, AGACNP-BC, spent several years as a critical care nurse at St. Vincent’s and Trinity.  She received her advanced practice degree from UAB School of Nursing in 2015 and became certified as an Adult and Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center in 2016. It was through her exposure to oncology while a critical care nurse, as well as family members battling cancer, that her passion for oncology was founded. Becoming a member of Dr. Piede’s team at Alabama Oncology enables her to continue her journey as a nurse practitioner by providing compassionate and comprehensive care to patients with hematology and oncology needs.
